Jesus is tested in the wilderness

Matthew 4:1-11
Jesus was put to the test by god, to see if he could fast in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights, without being tempted by the devil. because you see, the devil tried to get him to prove himself, saying if your really the son of god turn the stones into bread. jesus replied with "people do not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of god" you can fill yourself up with bread and food, but spiritually you'd still be empty without god. he will make sure you have whatever it is you need to survive, he will not forsake you. or let you become tempted by the devil. the devil tries again to test jesus and says if you are really the son of god, throw yourself down this mountain. but it is not the thing to do to put gods power to the test. then satan offers jesus much land and says, it can all be yours, if you bow down to me. and jesus says  it must not bow down to another, i will only worship my father. it was proven that with gods love, you can do anything. satans power is nothing compared to god.

the way of the cross

 in this passage it talks about saving your life, but losing it. your giving up the fillers in your life, and giving it all to god. making him your saviour, he's saving your life. but by saving your life< all of the fillers you dont need, youre losing christ. but in losing christ you lose power and strength. god is stronger than everything, and anything becomes possible in his name. you may think that youre making yourself worldly, but your giving up your soul.

History Maker 2011!

this was the greatest weekend of my life!i learnt so much about taking a stand, and not waiting around for someone else to do something. because what if no one ever does. i learnt that you cant wait around till the opposing team attacks you, if its gods  will he will lead you into the battle and give you the strength to win! this weekend i gave my life entirely back to god, i found myself venturing off in the past month or so, and this weekend brought me back. i cant do anything without christ. and i would be nothing if it werent for him. my entire life goes out to christ. its time for us to stand up as christian, in our school and work or wherever, because "conquerers shape culture" we need to rise above the dark kingdom and shine gods light through. "not little bic litters, a blow torch!"

our death is effect by his. his hands and his feet were pierced  for the sins our hands and feet will do, he was pierced in the side for the sins our heart will do.     Psalm 16:10 it says that we will not be abandoned to the realm of the dead. we will all die, but because of what jesus did for us we are able to life for eternity with god, and christ, in heaven. it also says you will not see your faithful one see decay. God knew that his son was going to die, much before it happened. he says he will not see decay, that he would save him, which is what he did, 3 days after jesus's crucifixion he arose from the gave it is the only theory that can not be proven false. our sin is what took him to the grave, but his power is what brought him out. all our debts are paid, we can spend out lives in glory in heaven. he died for every person who will ever walk the earth. every single one of us is offered the opportunity to know god, take it!!
the physical pain of being nailed to the cross isnt what killed christ, what killed christ was the mental pain of not having god, god had abandoned him, and that pain was so unbearable, thats what actually killed him. "my god my god, why have you forsaken me?"  jesus had to experience everything to become holy, some people even say that after he died he went to hell, and then after 3 days he then ascended to heaven with god.  it says that some of jesus's last words were, im thirsty. why would, as he is dying say he is thirsty?  he was thirsty, but not for a drink, he was thirsty for god's love. it would ease the pain, he had never lived without god, and this period of time without him killed him, so that we can all live in peace, being forgiven from our ins. he did this o that we never have to pay the cost, so that we never have to feel the pain of living without god.

"i just wanna be a sheep.."

the sheep and the goats matthew 25:31-46 its says that all nations were brought before him and split, the sheeps on one side, and the goats on the other. it says (to the sheep) when i was hungry you fed me, when i was thirsty you gave me something to drink.. ect, you may not have actually fed and clothed jesus, but figuratively you did, you helped people in need, his people, whatever you do for someone you do for Christ. but to the goats, who did not receive inheritance  were basically told, you didint help, you ignored, i was hungry and you didnt feed my, i was a stranger and you didnt invite me in. ect, again, its not actually meaning you didnt help christ, but you didnt help his people. you didnt see someone in need and give them something, even if you had more than enough. whatever you do not do for hem, you did not do for him. dont think about  what other people didnt do for you, think of all the reasons why you should, give, and you will get back.

"i just wanna be a sheep, ba ba ba ba ba... i dont wanna be a goat, nope nope, aint got no hope, no hope.."

if christ wishes to reveal himself to someone he will, and they will see him, without being scared off. if we hold back from the truth, and don't speak of what we believe, then who are we.do not be afraid to speak highly of christ with your non christian friends. do not be worried for them to be frightened off, if it was meant to be then christ would not scare them off, but instead bring them closer. romans 10:20, i was found by those who did not seek me. i revealed myself to those who did not ask for me. how do you know they wont like it unless you show it to them.show your friend the grace of god, amaze them with his love. and dont be afraid. because there is no such thing as a lost cause.
